No region will be more affected by population ageing than Asia. While Japan has the highest percentage of senior citizens in the world, counties like China, Singapore and Korea are catching up fast. Asia expects to be home to over 60% of the world’s 65 year plus age group by 2030. While this dramatic shift in the region’s demographic makeup poses challenges, there is a silver lining for business, with opportunities for new product development as a new market emerges.
