The U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) is a non-profit, independent membership organization representing the global trade interests of U.S. dairy producers, proprietary processors and cooperatives, ingredient suppliers and export traders. USDEC, together with its network of representatives in Southeast Asia and around the world, communicates science-based information on the health and nutritional benefits of U.S. Dairy to buyers, end-users and consumers to expand global demand and consumption of U.S. dairy products and ingredients. Southeast Asia is the second largest destination for U.S. dairy exports, with USDEC programs in the region focused on accelerating customer success in innovating locally-friendly health and wellness products utilizing the high-quality, sustainably-produced portfolio of U.S. dairy ingredients such as whey and milk proteins, milk powders, lactose and permeate.
